Who we are
Unique Melodies is a youth-led nonprofit that creates meaningful musical experiences for individuals with special needs. We are students, siblings, and volunteers who believe nobody should sit on the sidelines of a song.
Our story
Music programs are everywhere, but they are rarely designed for people who communicate, move, or learn differently. Unique Melodies exists to close that gap. Our sessions are built so that anyone can take part from the very first beat — no audition, no sheet music, no prior experience.
We run inclusive drum circles and group music sessions where participants, volunteers, and families all play side by side. The goal is never a polished performance. It is connection, self-expression, and the simple joy of making sound together.
Everything we do is powered by young volunteers. Students plan the sessions, run the circles, raise the funds, and open new chapters — gaining real leadership experience while serving their communities.

Leadership
Unique Melodies is led by students who run our programs day to day.
Founder & President
Noah founded Unique Melodies after experiencing first-hand how music can steady a restless mind. Living with ADHD, he found that drumming and rhythm gave him a way to focus, release energy, and feel confident in his own skin.
He wanted other people — especially those who are too often left out of music programs — to have that same outlet. What started as one drum circle grew into a youth-led organization built on the belief that music belongs to everyone.
Secretary
Hallie has spent years volunteering with individuals with special needs and singing in choirs and performances. Those two passions came together naturally at Unique Melodies.
She has seen how quickly a song can create an emotional connection between people who have just met, and she helps keep our sessions warm, welcoming, and well organized.
